I am Kari, and I make gourmet popcorn using only real butter. I have several different flavors, and I use real, local ingredients wherever possible. My Jalapeno Cheddar is made using fresh jalapeno, simmered in browned butter for a flavor that is nothing like you’ve had before.
I started Good Batch Popcorn in 2021, selling Truffle popcorn at the Texas Township Farmers Market, right down the street from where I live. I took a class about starting a food business at Can Do Kalamazoo, and with the knowledge I gained was able to open a retail location in Kalamazoo. This summer I moved down to Center Ave.
We still sell at the Texas Market, as well as the Kalamazoo Farmers Market, and a few others out of town.
Our popcorn is made with real ingredients, always from scratch and using recipes and methods I created myself.
